Janak Education Materials Center Nears Completion of Ballot Printing for House of Representatives Election

Janak Education Materials Center Limited has announced that ballot printing for the upcoming House of Representatives election has reached its final stage. The center stated that the remaining 500,000 ballot papers will be completed by the end of today.
According to Executive Managing Director Yadunath Paudel, the remaining 500,000 ballots for Bagmati Province will be printed by this evening. Of the total 20.3 million ballots required under the first-past-the-post system, only 500,000 remain to be printed, and these will be completed today. He said the printing work, which began with a 42-day schedule, is set to finish within 40 days. Once printing is completed, all ballots will be packed by tomorrow and transported to the remaining districts.
The center has been printing between 1.3 to 1.5 million ballots daily, completing the task ahead of schedule. It has already delivered 1 million sample ballot papers to the Election Commission Nepal for distribution to various locations.
Similarly, printing and packaging of 20.83 million proportional representation ballots have been completed, and they are being dispatched to districts.
Paudel stated that all ballots have already reached Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, and efforts are underway to deliver the remaining ballots to other regions by the 12th.
