Gold Price Rises, Silver Price Falls in Nepal

Kathmandu — In the Nepalese market today (Sunday), the price of gold has increased while silver has seen a decline.
After rising by NPR 700 per tola on Friday, gold prices increased by NPR 600 per tola on Sunday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is now trading at NPR 277,800 per tola, up from NPR 277,200 on Friday.
In contrast, the price of silver has decreased. On Friday, silver was trading at NPR 5,645 per tola, but on Sunday it fell to NPR 5,625 per tola, a decline of NPR 20 per tola compared to the previous day.
In the international market, gold is currently trading at USD 4,597 per ounce.
