Iranian Aircraft Damaged in U.S. Airstrike as Tensions Escalate Further

An aircraft belonging to Mahan Air, which was preparing to fly to New Delhi, was damaged in a U.S. airstrike at Mashhad International Airport. The plane was reportedly carrying medical supplies and humanitarian aid bound for India.

The conflict between Iran and the U.S.–Israel alliance has now entered its 31st day, with no signs of de-escalation. Meanwhile, the European Union has extended its human rights sanctions against Iran for another year.

In a related development, Iran has announced plans under a new policy concerning the Strait of Hormuz to impose transit fees on ships and restrict the movement of U.S. and Israeli vessels.

These developments indicate that the security situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly complex and volatile.
