Strong Windstorm Warning Issued for Friday and Saturday

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (Nepal) has issued a warning of strong windstorms expected over the next two days.
On Friday, windstorms are likely to affect Dang District and surrounding areas of Nepalgunj.
On Saturday, the impact is expected in Biratnagar, Dhankuta, and Dharan.
Winds could reach speeds of up to 119 km/h, according to estimates.
Authorities have urged the public to take precautions, as strong winds may uproot trees, blow off roofs, and disrupt electricity services.
