Baburam Bhattarai Says It Is Unfortunate That Karki Commission Report Has Not Been Made Public
Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has said it is unfortunate that the report of the Karki Commission has not yet been made public.In a post on Facebook, Bhattarai stated that the country has already entered a new political phase following the Gen-Z uprising, yet the report remains unpublished.
According to him, the interim government, which signed a 10-point agreement with the Gen-Z movement, should be the one to release the report.
Bhattarai said that doing so would make it easier for the upcoming new government to complete legal procedures and implement its recommendations.
He also warned that failing to publish the report could undermine public expectations and may particularly increase frustration among Gen-Z youth.
