Raswapa’s Ashika Tamang Withdraws Candidacy

Ashika Tamang, candidate from Dhading–2 representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa), is set to withdraw her candidacy. She has informed the District Election Office about her decision via email.
She is reported to have traveled to Dhading to complete the formal withdrawal process. She said,
“I have already sent emails and made calls; since physical presence is required, I am on my way now.”
Ashika has not disclosed the reason for withdrawing her candidacy. She is also reported to have consulted the Election Commission today.
