Nepali Congress Seeks Detailed Review Report After Election Defeat

The Nepali Congress has requested a detailed review report after failing to achieve the expected results in the recent House of Representatives (Nepal) elections.

The party’s central office has sent a circular to all provincial and district committees as well as election candidates, instructing them to analyze the reasons behind the defeat and submit their findings to the central leadership.

The circular, signed by General Secretaries Gururaj Ghimire and Pradeep Paudel, stated that the election results were disappointing.

It also instructed party units to form disciplinary committees at district and provincial levels, in accordance with the party statute, and submit the details to the central office.

The party has asked for a comprehensive report that includes the causes of the defeat, lessons learned, and recommendations for future improvements.

The Nepali Congress central office has set a deadline of Chaitra 3 for submitting the report.
