Prince Harry Emotional in Court over British Media Harassment

Prince Harry became emotional while giving testimony at London’s High Court on Wednesday. He told the court that the British media had turned the life of his wife, Meghan Markle, into a “living hell.” Battling tears, he left the courtroom after hours of testimony.

The case is filed against the publisher of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers Limited. Harry accused the media of repeatedly invading his private life and collecting personal information through unlawful means beyond legitimate sources.

“They are still following me. They have completely made my wife’s life a living hell,” Harry said in court.

Alongside Harry, seven other celebrities have filed claims against the publisher, alleging illegal collection of personal information over the past 20 years. The publisher denies all allegations, stating that the controversial reports were based on lawful sources.

The case is expected to last approximately nine weeks. Due to relentless media harassment, bullying, and racially biased articles, Harry and Meghan left royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020.
