Gagan Thapa Files Candidacy from Sarlahi-4, Pledges Commitment to a Developed Nepal

Sarlahi — Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has expressed his full commitment to building a developed Nepal through a refined and progressive Congress. On Wednesday, he shared his views on social media, reiterating his pledge to unite all Congress members under one roof.
Thapa has filed his candidacy for the upcoming House of Representatives election from Sarlahi-4. His main competitor is expected to be Amresh Kumar Singh from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSPa).
After being elected as party president through the special Congress convention, Thapa has emphasized strengthening internal party unity and ensuring fairness in the ticket distribution process, without favoring either the established or other factions.
