Ncell launches ‘Yuwa SIM’ starter pack for Gen Z users

Kathmandu- Ncell has launched a new starter pack, ‘Yuwa SIM’, targeting Gen Z customers with affordable voice and data services tailored to students and young users.

Priced at Rs 299, inclusive of taxes, the pack came into effect from January 10 and is available to Nepalis born after 1997. Valid for 28 days, it offers unlimited Ncell-to-Ncell calls, 5GB of data, and free access to digital wallets eSewa and Khalti, as well as the online learning platform ‘Mero School’.The telecom operator has also provided discounted off-net calls at Re 1 per minute. After exhausting the 5GB data allowance, users can continue browsing under the Pay As You Go service at 50 paisa per MB during the validity period.

“We are delighted to introduce ‘Yuwa SIM’, specially designed for youth to help them stay connected, simplify their digital lifestyle and support their education,” said Upanga Dutta, Chief Consumer Business Officer of Ncell.In addition, Yuwa SIM subscribers can purchase a special 1GB social media data pack for Rs 19, valid for 24 hours, allowing access to Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.To obtain the Yuwa SIM, customers must visit an Ncell Centre with a government-issued ID and a student ID. For minors, a guardian’s government-issued identification is required. Users can renew the pack every 28 days via the Ncell App or by dialing *123#.
