Sachin Dhakal Withdraws Name from Proportional Representation List

Kathmandu – Sachin Dhakal, Chairman of FC Chitwan, has announced the withdrawal of his name from the party’s Proportional Representation (PR) election list through a post on his social media account.
In his post, Dhakal stated that despite receiving numerous attractive opportunities abroad after completing his studies, he chose to return to Nepal with a strong determination to contribute to the country’s prosperity through entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of creating jobs within the country and said he has been actively involved in sectors such as the national economy, sports, tourism, and youth employment generation.
Dhakal highlighted the concerning reality that more than 500,000 Nepali youths leave the country every year in search of employment. At the same time, he noted that many young Nepalis are also returning home after completing their studies abroad with the courage and vision to build their future in Nepal, adding that he remains committed to supporting such efforts.
Expressing gratitude to the party leadership for including his name in the PR list, Dhakal said he decided to withdraw his name this time due to personal reasons, in line with the spirit and principles of the proportional representation system guaranteed by the Constitution of Nepal.
He reaffirmed his continued commitment to youth-led initiatives aimed at building a prosperous Nepal with good governance. Dhakal also stated that he would always be ready to take on political responsibility in the future if required in the interest of the nation and society.
