Investigation Commission Lifts Travel Restrictions on Former PM KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu – The Investigation Commission has revoked the travel restrictions previously imposed on former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli related to the events of Bhadra 23 and 24.
In a meeting held on Monday, the commission annulled its earlier decision that prevented Oli from traveling abroad and leaving the Kathmandu Valley.
The commission stated that during the investigation of these incidents, all necessary inquiries and fact-finding regarding actions taken by Oli in his capacity as Prime Minister have been completed. Since the questioning process is now finished, the commission deemed the imposed restrictions unnecessary and decided to lift them, according to commission member and spokesperson Vigynan Raj Sharma.
Earlier, on Ashoj 12, 2082, the commission had restricted Oli from leaving the Valley and traveling abroad due to ongoing investigations.
