South Korean Embassy in Nepal Launches Special Document Verification Service for Spring 2026 Applicants

Kathmandu: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal has announced a special, one-time document verification service aimed at helping Nepali students applying to Korean universities for the Spring 2026 intake.

The initiative, designed to simplify and speed up the authentication process, will allow group submission of academic documents from Nepali applicants through their respective universities.

Students must submit their documents within one-week period (November 19–25, 2025). According to the embassy, submissions made after the deadline will not be accepted.

‘Each university can submit documents for up to 30 students only, making the process highly competitive,’ embassy has mentioned in public notice, ‘students are advised to coordinate directly with their university admissions office to ensure inclusion in the batch submission.’
The verification is strictly for academic purposes— it cannot be used for visa applications. A separate authentication process will be required for visa documentation later.

According to the embassy, this streamlined, limited-time service aims to reduce processing delays and support a larger number of Nepali applicants in securing admissions to Korean institutions.

For more information, students should contact their respective universities or the South Korean Embassy in Nepal directly.
